We had a very pleasant whole-day tour in Terceira with Amelia. Amelia is warm, friendly,and speaks perfect English. In just one day she shared so much history, culture and environmental knowledge about Terceira that we truly felt like locals. But the amazing thing is that Amelia doesn’t just guide you through Terceira. She makes you feel the essence of the place. She is an Azorean ambassador! Highly recommend!
We had a chill time on the e-bike tour of Monte Brasil caldera. It was just me and my wife, so it felt super relaxed and personal. Our guide was really nice and full of enthusiasm—you could feel how much he loves the island and its nature. Sharing tips on what to see and do. The e-bikes made exploring easy as you can easily do the climbs on turbo mode if you feel the need to.
The Segway tour of Monte Brasil was very enjoyable. The guide showed us how to use the Segways and let us get used to them before we set off. He was very knowledgeable on the history and topography of the area and pointed out items of interest at every stop. It was very nice to get this information from a local. Driving the Segways was easy, we are both over 65 years old, and the terrain was a mixture of tarmac, cobbles and dirt road but we felt in safe hands at all times. We would not hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the best of Monte Brasil.
Wow we hit the jackpot on this tour by getting the most amazing guide Amelia the Blue haired women! She is beyond amazing. She brought the tour to life. Such a great personality, constantly checking that we were all good, explaining everything, telling tales of the island and answering all of your questions. If you want a tour of this island find out where the blue haired girl is working. The tour itself was a amazing, it covers all the most important sites in Terceira, some many beautiful look outs and the history of the island. The trip is well paced, not hurried, or to slow. You have just the right amount of free time at each stop. The lunch break, on your own, is in a beautiful village on the water. I highly recommend this tour and guide.
Had a beautiful relaxing experience doing the E- bike tour of Monte Brasil- James was so friendly, warm and knowledgeable! We learnt some great facts about the islands history and saw incredible views of the main city - plus he was a pro with all the camera angles for the best photos! Thanks so much for fitting us in- it was the perfect way to end our day!

Aardig en zeer geduldige gids. Leuke tour met tieners (die anders niet mee waren gegaan). De gids vertelde allerlei wetenswaardigheden over de Monte Brasil en Angra do Heroismo. Goede uitleg over het gebruik van de Segway. Is voor iedereen.
A very entertaining and interesting tour. We were the only two participants and our tour guide took us on a tour that lasted longer than expected. The tour was not only great fun on the Segways, but we also learned a lot about the places we visited and their history. We had never ridden a Segway before, but our tour guide was very good at explaining how they work; within two minutes we were able to ride them safely. An experience not to be missed, a great way to visit Monte Brasil.
